Delta College Prep Signs Michigan Forward Lucas Milne for 2025-26

Delta College Prep Hockey is proud to welcome forward Lucas Milne to the 2025-26 roster. A native of Michigan, Milne developed in Detroit’s competitive AAA hockey scene before playing four years of varsity hockey at Chelsea High School. In his senior year, he delivered a standout campaign with 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points.

Milne is no stranger to the program, having been a full-time member of Delta’s affiliate summer team, MOLE Hockey Club, where he competed in both the Pre-Draft Showcase and the Chowder Cup. His experience, skill, and work ethic make him a strong addition to the Delta College Prep forward group.

General Manager David Dew shared:

“Lucas is a great kid. Although he’s a new signing, he’s no stranger to me or our staff. He skated with us last season while visiting as a recruit and later played with our MOLE HC summer teams. He has an absolute motor, is a forechecking machine, and clearly possesses offensive ability, putting up well over a point-per-game last season in USHS-MI.”

Head Coach Mitch Gillespie added:

“Lucas was a highly productive player for Chelsea High last season, consistently creating offense with his relentless work ethic. His disruptive presence on the forecheck makes him a constant threat, and defensemen always need to be aware of where he is on the ice.”
