Delta College Prep's Vojtech Klucak signs NCDC tender with CT RoughRiders
Delta College Prep is extremely proud to announce the advancement and NCDC tender signing of two-year College Prep alumnus 2009-born defenseman Vojtech Klucak.
One of two current European players in the program, Klucak relocated to the United States in September and has been a committed member of Delta College Prep since his arrival. Across two seasons of USHS-Prep / NAPrepHL competition, Vojta appeared in 73 games, recording 3 goals and 15 assists while establishing himself as a reliable, physical, puck-moving defenseman.
Klucak has earned his tender with the CT RoughRiders, a respected New England Tier II program with a strong history of advancement. The RoughRiders are official affiliates of the Powell River Kings (BCHL) and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (USHL), providing elite Tier I junior pathways for player development and progression.
(Sophomore #23) Vojta Klucak:
"I really thankful for this opportunity by my parents and General manager David Dew as well as coaches Mitch Gillespie and Jack Wrightsel for finding my CT Roughriders NCDC tender and i'm more than happy to join their program next year"
General Manager David Dew shared:
“Vojtech has been part of this since we started, bought in immediately, and gives me his all on a daily basis. A literal model citizen of the College Prep program, it’s extremely hard to see him go. We would not put this advancement in place if Vojta wasn’t ready—he’s proven himself very capable of being a top-four, puck-moving, physical defenseman for two straight seasons. With his young age and the USHL/BCHL affiliations tied to the RoughRiders, I believe the sky is the limit for him. Congratulations to Vojtech and the Klucak family, and thank you to Coach Piatek and the CT RoughRiders for working with us on this advancement.”
Head Coach Mitch Gillespie added:
“Couldn’t be more excited for Voj earning his tender with the RoughRiders. A true pro since the day he arrived—consistent, reliable, and a huge piece of our backend. Proud of you, Voj. Well deserved.”
