6’2”, 2007 FORWARD BURTON GALIPPO SIGNS WITH DELTA COLLEGE PREP FROM THE NA3HL

Delta College Prep is excited to announce the signing of 2007 forward Burton “Burty” Galippo.

A native of North Olmsted, Ohio, Galippo recorded 88 points over three seasons at the high school level before advancing to the NA3HL with the Tulsa Jr. Oilers. Last season, he appeared in 20 Tier III junior hockey games, continuing his development against older competition.

Head Coach Mitch Gillespie:

“Burty spent a weekend with DCP last season, where he made an immediate impression with his size, strength, and power. He has a very promising toolset to become an impactful player, and we believe he’ll reach that potential within our system.

We’re excited to welcome Burton to the group and expect him to make a significant impact both on and off the ice this season.”

“Burty is a very exciting addition to our program. We’ve successfully developed players coming from Tier III junior hockey before, and we believe the maturity he’s gained competing at that level will allow him to transition seamlessly into our environment.

He’s already generated early NCAA interest through our network, and I’m excited to see how he develops as one of our 2007 leaders. His combination of size, physicality, and proven scoring ability makes him a very intriguing piece of our roster this season.”
