Delta College Prep Signs Goaltender Mason “Moose” Brehm for 2025-26
Delta College Prep Hockey is proud to announce the signing of local goaltender Mason “Moose” Brehm for the 2025-26 season. Brehm is no stranger to the program, having practiced with the team during last year’s run to the Metsel Cup Final.
At 6’1”, Brehm brings size and experience to the crease. Over the past two seasons, he played in 54 games at the 16U AA level with the SISU Thunderbirds, recording two shutouts and an .870 save percentage. His strong frame, athleticism, and growing technical game are expected to transition smoothly into the prep hockey level, where he looks to gain exposure and continue developing toward junior hockey.
General Manager David Dew shared:
“I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Moose since he was very young through the Caruso Savemaker Goaltending Camp. I’ve always been a huge fan of his work ethic and eagerness to learn. He constantly asks technical questions about goaltending, which speaks to his drive to improve. Mason tracks pucks very well and is athletic out of his stance, polishing the fine details at the prep level is our focus as he gains valuable reps.”
Head Coach Mitch Gillespie added:
“Mason showed promise with his U16 AA Thunderbirds team, displaying the tools to become a reliable presence in net. With his work ethic and willingness to learn, we’re excited to help him develop his game and take the next step.”
