Delta College Prep Welcomes Back 2008 Forward Max Garrett Full-Time

Delta College Prep Hockey is proud to announce the return of 2008-born forward Max Garrett for the 2025-26 season. Garrett was an Affiliate Player (AP) during last year’s run to the National Championship Final, where he made an immediate impact, appearing in 26 prep games and contributing 3 goals and 7 assists.

In addition to his role with College Prep, Garrett played the majority of his season with the SISU Thunderbirds 16U AA, where he posted an impressive 23 goals and 7 assists, finishing as the team’s leading scorer by 8 points. His strong offensive production and proven ability to contribute at both the prep and 16U levels have earned him a spot as a full-time roster member this season.

General Manager David Dew shared:

“Last year we had the pleasure of AP’ing Max, where he joined us for many successful wins and contributed to them heavily. Gary plays strong on the puck and has two-way abilities. His scoring presence is obvious from his past numbers, and with a larger role this season, he should remain on course. We are honored to host Max full time this year, it’s something he more than proved capable of last season.”

Head Coach Mitch Gillespie added:

“Max made the most of every opportunity last year, showing poise beyond his age. He’s a reliable two-way forward with a natural scoring touch, and his consistency was evident both in prep games and with SISU. We’re excited to see what he can do with a full-time role, and I believe he’s ready to take a step forward this season.”
