ETHAN MENDELKE SIGNS WITH DELTA FROM CSDHL

 Delta College Prep has signed Illinois forward Ethan Mendelke for the 2026–27 season.

Mendelke was identified through our partner, MOLE Hockey, after attending multiple showcases this summer and making a strong impression on the Delta staff.

Last season, Ethan competed in the CSDHL with the Crystal Lake Yellow Jackets, recording 10 goals and 5 assists in 16 games before joining Lakers High School for the scholastic season, where he produced 32 points in 22 games.

“I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Ethan over the last year and watching his development firsthand. Ethan is a hockey player, plain and simple.

Driven by a constant motor to be on the ice and improve, he plays a relentless two-way game at center, brings a tough, gritty edge, and has been a top contributor for both his high school and CSDHL teams over the past two years—all while leading his high school squad in PIMs.

He’s a great addition to what we’re building, and we’re thrilled to get Ethan in a Delta sweater!”
