Delta College Prep signs 2009 forward Landon Cruz
Delta College Prep is proud to formally announce the signing of 2009-born forward Landon Cruz of Coldwater, Ohio.
The 5’8” playmaker joins Delta College Prep after spending time with the Miami Junior Redhawks, where he established himself as a dynamic offensive threat. Cruz is also well known in the roller hockey community as an elite goal scorer with high-end creativity.
Already integrated into the lineup, Cruz has appeared in 11 games with Delta College Prep, recording 2 assists while consistently displaying strong offensive instincts, pace, and playmaking ability.
General Manager David Dew shared his thoughts on the addition:
“Cruzer fit a role that was absolutely necessary 11 games ago, and we’ve only gone up from there. He quickly adjusted to the pace of prep hockey and, more importantly, gelled with his teammates immediately. I was impressed with his natural offensive skillset and vision early on, and I’m even more impressed now with the effort he continues to put forth.”
Head Coach Mitch Gillespie added:
“We’re thrilled to add Landon Cruz to our group. A smart, skilled forward with a strong roller hockey background, Landon brings great hockey sense and offensive creativity to the ice. We’re excited to work with him as he continues to grow and are confident he has the potential to be a big contributor for us.”
