Hi everyone,
This past weekend was huge for our program. Every single player got the chance to tour either an NCAA Division III or ACHA Division I school. These visits are a huge part of what we do at Delta College Prep, giving players face time with college/junior staff while making sure they don’t miss valuable games.
Now the focus shifts to Boston. After a tough four-game preseason that didn’t meet our expectations, the team is hitting the road for the EHL/EHLP Showcase. This event is loaded with scouts—every EHL team (Tier 2 juniors) will have staff in the building, and with so many NCAA Division III programs local, our players will be skating in front of a lot of eyes.
Travel Plan
Leave: Thursday, October 2, between 10–11 AM
Arrive in Boston: Thursday evening (ahead of Friday’s early game)
Return: Sunday night, October 5, around 11 PM (subject to change)
Hotel: Sheraton Boston – Needham
Provided by Delta: Bus, hotel, and three meals a day (snacks are on players)
Meal Schedule (Provided by Delta)
Friday – Lunch (bus), Dinner (bus)
Saturday – Breakfast (hotel), Lunch, Dinner
Sunday – Breakfast (hotel), Lunch, Dinner (bus)
Games
Friday 10/3 – Valley Jr. Warriors (EHLP), 10 AM @ New England Sports Village
Friday 10/3 – 95 Giants (18U AAA), 7 PM @ Lovell Arena
Saturday 10/4 – Union Jr. Thunder (EHLP), 11 AM @ New England Sports Village
Sunday 10/5 – Seahawks Hockey Club (EHLP), 8 AM @ New England Sports Village
Team Event
On Saturday at 4 PM, the team will tour Roger Williams University (NCAA D3) in Rhode Island. Our players will meet the head coach and connect with Thomas Sullivan (2004), a MOLE Hockey alum who now plays at RWU. More college tours will happen throughout the season.
The showcase gives our players three strong junior matchups against Valley, Union, and Seahawks EHLP (Tier 3/on par with USPHL Premier and NA3HL). We also lined up a heavy 18U AAA game against the 95 Giants, a program that’s been a staple in New England hockey for years. Together, this mix of games gives the team a chance to prove they’re above the Tier 3 level while battling against a top midget opponent.
How to Watch
EHL/EHLP Games: Live on FloHockey (no independent streams allowed).
Live Scores: Updated on Rumble.
95 Giants Game: Full Rumble stream with our usual DCP production.
With a reset in practice and the addition of a new player, this group knows exactly what’s expected. Success will come from staying disciplined, playing physical, and trusting each other.
We are truly fortunate to be playing hockey this weekend. Every player should feel deeply grateful for the efforts and sacrifices made to get them here. Delta Hockey and Delta College Prep recognize, appreciate, and are honored to carry the belief and support this group provides. Thank you to the parents, billets, bus drivers, and most importantly, our players for the countless contributions to this program. Delta will always remain indebted to every player and family who chooses to take a chance on this journey. We have already come so far as a college prep program, and there is still so much more to accomplish.
Ride the Wave.
Best,
DD

2 weeks agoDELTA COLLEGE PREP 2025 HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER FUND
New for 2025, Delta College Prep is proud to launch a fundraiser that not only supports our program but also gives back to a cause that impacts so many including individuals within our program. Unlike many programs at the Tier 3 junior and prep levels, we are committed to sharing—not keeping—our donations.
For this campaign, every dollar donated will be split 50/50 with the NHL’s official Hockey Fights Cancer charity through the V foundation. When the fundraiser concludes on November 1, 2025, the total amount raised will be announced publicly, and half of the proceeds will be sent directly to Hockey Fights Cancer.
As part of the campaign, Delta College Prep will wear special pink jerseys for the duration of the fundraiser. In any game where white jerseys would normally be worn, the team will instead take the ice in pink. At the end of the fundraiser, the jerseys will be auctioned off, with 50% of jersey sales also benefiting Hockey Fights Cancer.
We encourage everyone to consider making a donation, big or small. Your support not only contributes to the fight against breast cancer and all forms of this disease, but also helps cover the travel, meals, and operational needs of Delta College Prep and our incredible roster of young athletes.
Together, we can make an impact.
*Any donation over $1,000 will be publicly recognized and celebrated with official acceptance into our "donors" program*
