Delta College Prep signs 2008 forward Owen Clevinger

Delta College Prep is proud to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Owen Clevinger, an Ohio native who joins the program midseason.

This season, Clevinger recorded 17 points in 8 games with the PHA Prowlers Varsity OSHL program, showcasing consistent offensive production and high-end scoring ability. His performance highlighted a clear readiness for increased reps against Junior, Prep, and AAA-level competition.

Clevinger has already appeared in 5 games with Delta College Prep as an Affiliate Player, tallying 1 goal and 2 assists, proving his ability to compete and produce at the College Prep level.

General Manager David Dew:

“Owen AP’d with us for a handful of games this season before we mutually agreed that he needed to be here full time. He displays a natural offensive ability and scoring touch when given time and space. We’ve focused on making consistent body contact along the perimeter every shift, and he’s made strong improvements. Owen fits very well here both talent-wise and culturally, and we’re happy to have him on board as we load up toward playoffs.”

Head Coach Mitch Gillespie:

“Owen brings a strong offensive mindset and competitiveness to our group. He’s a player who wants the puck and isn’t afraid to make plays in scoring areas. We’ve liked his growth during his time with us as an AP, and we’re excited to continue developing his game as we head into an important stretch of the season.”
